Alex glanced around and parked her car next to the diner. She got out and glanced around. She was bored, not doing anything that day and wanted something to do. She decided to go to the diner to get something to eat. She was hungry and there wasn't anything to eat at home just yet so naturally, she'd go out to eat something. She sat down and saw a newcomer. They didn't get much of those, here in this town. She wondered what he was doing there. She ordered a burger and sweet tea and glanced around the room. She bit her bottom lip as she glanced at the male. She was curious, maybe a little too curious but...she couldn't help it! It was just not many people came there unless they were a vampire...or a werewolf...or a hybrid. She bit her bottom lip, still and got up. She walked over to him. "Hello." She said with a small smile. "I just gotta ask...why here? We don't get many newcomers...rarely...and there's a reason for that. We're not very exciting." She joked.

Alex laughed a little bit and said, “Sorry about that.” She knew that he knew that she wasn’t a normal person, mostly because of her heart. She grinned and looked around for a second and thought about how much supernatural stuff went on at Forks. Why was there so much supernatural activity in Forks? What was so special about Forks? She shrugged it off, mentally, Alex couldn’t be thinking about all that right then. She knew something was odd about him. He had no smell…usually even hybrids had some kind of smell in them. “Extended family? Cool.” She said with a smile. She could smell the blood coming from the drink. So he’s a vampire, she thought to herself, or at least some kind of vampire. She nodded. “Maybe, I wouldn’t know. I don’t really hang out around many people.” She glanced around and then back at the male. “By the way, I’m Alex.” She told him with a small smile. It was rude to talk to someone without giving them her name, at least to her. It wasn’t really right.
