After a great day of being out in the fresh air, where the clouds were just perfectly covering the sun so that a vampire such as she was was protected from the skin reaction to it, Alice was finally able to just come home and relax. She had just been out at the mall with a couple of friends since Jasper hadn't wanted to go, saying that it was too girly or boring or something like that, just the usual thing that most guys would say about the situation. Her brand new pair of high heels clicked along the cement pavement outside of the mansion where her family was currently staying, and soon a different, more hollow, sound was heard as she stepped onto the wood of the porch. She had her purse swung over her shoulder and a clear smile trailing over her lips as she opened up the door and walked inside, her hearing picking up that there weren't many people home at the time.
